Payment of D A to GDS at revised rates w.e.f. 01.07.2014 onwards

Extract of Postal Directorate letter no 14-01/2011-PAP dated 25.09.2014 :

Consequent upon grant of another installment of Dearness allowance to central Govt employees with effect from 01.07.2014, the Gramin Dak Sevaks also become entitled for payment of D.A on basic TRCA  at revised rates with effect from 01.07.2014.It has,therefore, been decided that the Dearness allowance payable to Gramin Dak Sevaks shall be enhanced from the present rate of 100% to 107% on the basic time related continuity allowance, with effect from the 1st July 2014.

The additional installment of Dearness allowance payable under this order shall be paid in cash to all gramin Dak sevaks.
